Full day of powerful lectures at the TOURITAGE ISP at Nahda University

Monday, August 4, 2025, was a full day of powerful lectures at the TOURITAGE ISP at Nahda University

The day opened with reflections on the Palermo training by Basam Abdelhakim and Aya Mamdouh, followed by Dr. Niveen Daoud’s talk on situated knowledge and materiality at Park Hill.

After the break, Dr. Eman Shaqour continued her deep dive into Palestinian architecture through conflict and rebirth, and the day wrapped up with Ahmed Farouk’s insightful case study on adaptive reuse in Bab El-Louk, Cairo.

Today’s engaging session with Cityfootnoters sparked powerful reflections!
